How to keep breeding duck eggs
In the incubation management of growth, although the storage time of eggs after production is relatively short, it is also impossible to hatch immediately after production. Therefore, seed eggs should be stored for a certain time before being hatched. Even if the breeding eggs come from excellent duck flocks: after strict selection, the breeding eggs with good quality are poor in Xuguobao Northeast Tiger service, and the storage method is improper, which has a negative impact on the incubation effect. Especially in winter and summer. Therefore, it is necessary to create a suitable storage condition and methods for seed eggs.
(1) Requirements for egg storage room
Good thermal insulation performance is required. Large hatcheries should have special egg storage rooms. The storage room should be closed without windows. In addition, the storage room shall also be equipped with thermostatically controlled heating equipment and refrigeration equipment, as well as automatic humidity controller. The distance between the egg storage room and the duck house should be as far as possible, and it should be convenient for cleaning and disinfection.
(2) Suitable temperature and humidity
The ideal temperature for storage of seed eggs is 13-16 ℃, but the storage time is not different. It is better to keep the eggs within 7 days and control them at 15 ℃; 11 ℃ is appropriate for more than 7 days. High temperature has a great impact on the hatchability of breeding eggs. When the storage temperature is higher than 23 ℃, the embryo begins to develop slowly. Although the development degree is limited, the cell metabolism will gradually lead to the aging and death of the embryo; On the contrary, if the temperature is too low, it will also cause the death of the embryo and affect the hatching rate. When the temperature is lower than 0 ℃, the seed egg will lose its hatching ability due to freezing.
It should be noted that under any circumstances, the seed eggs should be stored in a relatively stable temperature environment. Therefore, before storage, if the temperature of the seed egg is higher than the storage temperature, it should be gradually cooled to make the egg temperature close to the temperature of the storage room, and then put it into the storage room. If the temperature is too high, the egg surface will regain moisture, and the seed egg will easily become moldy and deteriorated. If the humidity is too low, the moisture in the egg will evaporate, which will inevitably affect the incubation effect. The moisture content of the preserved egg is the best, and the relative humidity in the storage room is generally within the range of 75-80%. The seed eggs stored within one week may affect the hatchability
(3) Suitable egg position
Only minor impact. In order to keep the air chamber in proper position, the seed egg should be upward with the blunt end. If the eggs are rotated every day, the seed eggs with the blunt end kept upwards for more than one week can still obtain better hatching effect. The blunt end upwards can prevent the adhesion between the embryo and the shell membrane, otherwise it will cause the early death of the embryo. When the preservation period is long, the angle of turning the egg should be greater than 90 degrees.
(4) Appropriate storage period
The shorter the storage period, the better the hatchability. With the extension of storage period, the hatching rate will gradually decline. The decline of incubation rate also has a great relationship with the season. Even if there are proper storage conditions and the storage time is too long, it is difficult to obtain the ideal incubation effect. Because the protein of fresh eggs has bactericidal effect, after long-term storage, the bactericidal effect of protein drops sharply. On the other hand, the storage time is too long, the excessive evaporation of the water in the egg leads to the change of the internal p resistance, and the activity of various enzymes is increased by 1, resulting in the aging of the embryo, the change of nutrients and the reproduction of residual bacteria, thus endangering the embryo and reducing the hatching rate.
If the seed eggs need to be stored for a long time, they can be put into a plastic bag sealed with a beard, filled with N2, and placed in the egg box sealed with PNT, which can prevent the metabolism of substances and microorganisms in the egg and prevent excessive evaporation of water in the egg. If the storage period exceeds 3-4 weeks, 70-80% hatching rate can still be obtained. When the seed eggs are stored for a long time, they should be turned over once a day, which can also delay the sharp decline of the hatching rate.
